I have used many moisturizers throughout the years, and this one really made an impact on my skin. I have combination skin, but it’s different on certain areas of my face. There are areas on my skin that are extremely dry, but there are also areas that are oily & acne-prone. It’s definitely hard to find the right moisturizer to accommodate my temperamental skin.
Let’s get down to the details! This moisturizer is formulated with 92% snail filtract/mucin. Snail mucin has been a big trend in Korean beauty for years. So, what’s all the hype about? After doing some research, I found that snail mucin contains hyaluronic acid (hydrates the skin), glycoprotein (promotes growth of collagen/elastin for anti-aging), proteoglycans, antimicrobial & copper peptides. Since these elements are what protect the snail’s skin from sun damage, dryness, and bacteria, they act the same towards our skin. In more concise terms, snail mucin hydrates, improves fine lines, & reduces acnes & redness on your skin.
After learning about all this, I was so excited to try this out. I put it on one night & the next morning I already noticed a difference. I was shocked at how well the cream worked. The consistency of this cream thin. It’s more gooey/gel-like vs. the consistency of a heavy cream. Despite the lightweight feel of the cream, I felt intense hydration as I placed it on my face. This cream is also has no fragrance, which is what I prefer when using moisturizers.
How to use: I use this cream morning and night. After cleansing and toning my face first, I follow with an essence and serum. Lastly, I lightly pat the cream all over my face. I double the amount of cream onto the drier areas of my face.
Results: My skin is overall feeling more hydrated. The dryness on my skin disappeared. I also noticed a tightness to my skin as well (yay for anti-aging qualities!). The texture of my skin is also smoother and more even now.
This All in One Snail Cream is definite must have! Check it out here!
